Here are answers to the most common questions about our custom engraving and etching process.

1. Digital Proofs & Design Approval FAQs

Will I get to see a digital proof before my item is engraved at Ohio Basket Chic?

Ohio Basket Chic provides digital proofs for custom business logos, Realtor branding, and complex artwork, while standard monograms follow fixed layout templates.

  • Standard Monograms & Simple Text: Because our monogram styles follow fixed, classic layout templates, we do not send digital proofs for standard monograms. This ensures fast turnaround and dispatch. Please double-check all initials, spellings, and dates carefully when placing your order.
  • Custom Logos & Specialty Layouts: We provide a digital proof for all custom company logos, Realtor co-branding, and specialty artwork. Our design team will email you a digital mockup within 24 to 48 hours (up to 72 hours during peak holiday seasons) for approval before production begins.

Can I request changes to my engraving design after seeing the proof?

Yes, Ohio Basket Chic allows design revisions to your digital proof before final approval. If you would like to adjust the font, sizing, layout, or placement of your text or logo, simply reply to our proof email with your requested changes. Our team will send a revised proof for your final approval.

2. Logos, Artwork & Font Guidelines FAQs

What file formats does Ohio Basket Chic accept for custom company logos?

Ohio Basket Chic accepts vector files (.EPS, .SVG, .AI, .PDF) and high-resolution images (.PNG, .JPG) at 300 DPI or higher for custom laser engraving. To ensure the crispest laser engraving and etching results, vector artwork formats are best.

  • Vector Files (Preferred): .EPS, .SVG, .AI, or high-resolution vector .PDF
  • Image Files: High-resolution black-and-white .PNG or .JPG (minimum 300 DPI)

Note: If you only have a low-resolution logo or image, email it to us! Our design team will review it to see if we can convert it for crisp laser engraving.

Can I use my own brand fonts or corporate brand guidelines with Ohio Basket Chic?

Yes, Ohio Basket Chic can match corporate brand guidelines and custom fonts for realtors, businesses, and corporate clients. If you have a specific font or brand style guide, let us know in your order notes or email us your font files (.TTF or .OTF). We will match your company branding as closely as possible on your engraved keepsakes.

3. Production Times, Turnaround & Policy FAQs

How long does engraving production take at Ohio Basket Chic?

Engraving production at Ohio Basket Chic takes 1 to 3 business days after digital proof approval before shipping or local delivery. Need a fast turnaround for a real estate closing gift or corporate event? Call or text Ohio Basket Chic directly at 614-594-9550 to request rush production options.

Can custom-engraved or etched items be returned or canceled at Ohio Basket Chic?
