How quickly can you deliver my order?

We typically deliver Monday through Friday and usually request 72 business hours in order to design your basket(s).  Depending on time of year and order volume, we may be able to accommodate design and delivery in as soon as just 8 hours.  We would love to help you with your short notice orders!  Please contact us directly at 614-594-9550 so that we can get your order started right away.  We also ship nationwide.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes, We offer gift baskets personally delivered to Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas.  We offer free delivery for orders of $250 or more to a single delivery address in the following locations:

There will be a $15 delivery fee for orders in the above areas if the order is under $250.
There will be a $15 fee for each additional delivery address beyond the first delivery address.
There is a $25 delivery fee for all orders in areas considered to be more “remote”.  These areas include: Alexandria, Ashville, Coshocton, Delaware, Galena, Heath, Johnstown, London, Newark, New Philadelphia, Pataskala, Plain City, Sunbury, West Jefferson, and Zanesville.  There is a $25 charge to deliver to these areas.  Minimum order for delivery to these areas is $100.  Shipping is also available with no minimum order.  We also offer free pick up in Grove City.  We also ship nationwide.

Can I ship to multiple locations in one order?

The short answer is YES!  During check out, you will only be able to enter a single delivery address.  If you have ordered multiple baskets that require multiple delivery addresses, please email us through our contact form at https://ohiobasketchic.com/contact-us/ or call us at 614-594-9550 here.  We want to make sure we deliver each of your baskets to the correct locations!

Do your deliver on weekends?

We offer gift baskets delivered to Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas and weekend delivery is only available to certain locations upon request. Keep in mind that there may be specific terms and conditions, like cutoff times and additional fees.  If you are interested in weekend delivery, please contact us at 614-594-9550 to confirm availability/fees.  We would love to accommodate your request if possible!

At what time will my order be delivered?

Unless otherwise requested by the customer, our standard delivery times are anytime until 8:00 pm for residential addresses, and anytime until 5:00 pm for business addresses. During peak delivery periods such as holidays (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.), delivery deadlines may be extended to accommodate high volumes. Please do not assume that your order will be delivered before or by a certain time of day.

As with all delivery services, please take into consideration that an order’s exact delivery time will fluctuate due to various circumstances beyond our immediate control, such as traffic/road conditions, weather, volume of orders/packages, distance, etc.  We do our very best to accommodate any delivery deadlines that you may have.  If you have questions or concerns about delivery, please contact us.

Delivery to the above areas is free if order if over $250 to one delivery address.  For orders under $250, there is a $15 delivery charge for each delivery address.

Do you deliver to hospitals, hotels, funeral homes and retirement homes throughout the Columbus area?

Yes, upon request, we will deliver to hospitals, hotels, funeral homes, and retirement homes.

For deliveries to hospitals/hotels, please mention the name of the company, the recipient’s room/floor number, and contact number when placing the order online; we also ask customers to take some time to verify that their recipient is not scheduled to leave the facility during or before the expected delivery date/time. Customers are not entitled to refunds should their recipient depart the facility before their order has been delivered.

It is important for customers to understand that each organization abides by their own rules/regulations and, despite our best efforts, there is always a possibility that the facility might lose or misplace a package, even when we’ve delivered it correctly.

All emails are responded to within 24-48 hours; e-mail inquiries submitted after business hours will be responded to the following business day. During peak times of the year when we are experiencing high contact and order volumes, kindly allow us 24-72 hours to get back to you.

Do you deliver to remote locations outside of the Columbus area?

We offer gift baskets delivered to Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas If, after placing an order, an address or destination is deemed to be “remote”, an additional service charge will be applied at the expense of the purchaser; such charges can occur at any point after the order has been placed, including after the order has been shipped and/or delivered.  Remote areas include areas outside of the Columbus suburbs such as:  Alexandria, Ashville, Coshocton, Delaware, Galena, Heath, Johnstown, London, Newark, New Philadelphia, Pataskala, Plain City, Sunbury, West Jefferson, and Zanesville.  There will be a $25 delivery fee assessed for these and other “remote” locations. We also ship nationwide.

What happens if no one is at home for a delivery?

For Local Deliveries– If we cannot reach the recipient using the phone number provided, the package may be left at a safe area at the address without obtaining a signature. We reserve the right to use our discretion to determine if/when orders can be left at an address unattended. If the package cannot be left at the address, the order will be returned and re-delivery will be required, subject to a re-shipping fee at the purchaser’s expense; the cost of the re-shipping fee will vary depending on the destination and contents of the order.

Some locations may not offer direct/immediate access to the intended recipient, in which event the package might be left in care of a concierge (for apartment buildings, condominiums, and hotels) or front desk/reception (for office buildings). Proof of delivery is obtained whenever possible.

If you are still unable to locate your receipt after checking your inbox, you possibly misspelled/mistyped your email address or accidentally deleted the email; please contact us and we’ll happily re-send your receipt. Please Note: We do not include physical copies of receipts, invoices, or pricing in delivered orders.

Do you include a receipt or order information with the delivery?

Under no circumstances do we send details regarding our products’ pricing, such as receipts or invoices, to recipients.

Apart from the contents of the order itself, the only paperwork we may attach to shipped/completed orders are the name and contact information of the purchaser/sender (which customers disclose when they place their orders online), card message, and our company’s contact information. These documents are included to make sure recipients know who and where the package is from, should they wish to get in contact with the sender/us at any time.

Why do you require the recipient’s phone number?

When placing an order, all customers are asked to provide a working, local phone number for their recipient in case of delivery issues. It is not uncommon for recipients to be away/unavailable at the time a delivery is attempted, therefore having their phone number could possibly help salvage a delivery and in turn avoid unsuccessful deliveries/returns.

Can I correct or change an address after I have ordered?

Customers are solely responsible for making sure the address they enter when placing their order is correct, complete, and accurate at all times; this includes unit numbers, business names, and phone numbers. Customers are also responsible for reviewing their receipt to make sure the address they’ve submitted is correct before the order has been shipped. As the seller/merchant, we can only ship orders to the address customers provide.

We understand that mistakes happen and plans change. If you realize you’ve mistakenly a shipping address or require an address change, please contact us immediately so we can attempt to correct the address, before the order has been shipped or fulfilled.

Can you hold my order and ship it later?

There is no such thing as placing an order “too early”. In fact, we strongly encourage customers to place their orders in advance to avoid some of the stress that could come with placing an order at the last minute. If you are placing an order in advance, simply choose your preferred delivery date, and we’ll schedule the order to be dispatched and delivered on the chosen date.  Or, just let us know when you would like your order shipped.
